NEW YORK CITY (TND) — New York City Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials on Tuesday announced the arrest of a migrant squatter with ties to transnational criminal organization Tren de Aragua.
The individual, Johan Jose Cardenas Silva, is wanted in Peru on conspiracy, assault and aggravated theft charges, according to ICE. ICE officials arrested Cardenas after his release from Nassau County Correctional Center. He is currently detained and awaiting deportation from the U.
Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Clearfield Fire Department say a man was hospitalized Tuesday following a house fire in Clearfield Borough.
Officials say the blaze broke out at a home along West Front Street, around 11:30 a.m., and was called in by a local sheriff's deputy.
Investigators say crews arrived on scene and observed smoke and flames coming from the home.
Fire officials say crews were able to extinguish the flames quickly but a male resident was transported to UPMC Mercy for treatment of injuries sustained in the blaze.

TIONESTA - Goodwill Industries of North Central Pennsylvania held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday at its newest store located inside a grocery store.
The new store is located inside Farm Fresh Foods in Tionesta. Officials said it's the first Goodwill store within another business in the country.

Restaurant expands in downtown Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A business in downtown Johnstown is expanding.
Intrignia Incorporated announced Wednesday it acquired the former Mission Inn building next to Balance Restaurant.
Officials tell us the new space for Balance will have an area for private banquets, weddings, and business meetings and even a live music venue.
Construction is expected to begin soon, with the new addition set to open early next year.
