Drug bust in Somerset County leads to multiple arrests

SIPESVILLE, Pa. – Several people were arrested after a drug bust in Somerset County Thursday.

State police said they raided a home on Schoolhouse Road in Sipesville looking for Ty Soberdash, who had an active warrant.

According to police, once at the home, they found a variety of drugs in an upstairs bedroom, including mushrooms, heroin, black tar heroin, pills and meth.

Police said Boyd Williamson was in that room at the time and was also found to have a large sum of cash on him.

Police said four young children were staying in a bedroom across the hall from where the drugs were found.

Soberdash is in the Somerset County Jail on $100,00 bail, and Williamson has since been released.

Jail officials said several other people were also taken to jail as a result of the raid for outstanding warrants.
