Bedford County, PA (WJAC) — State police in Bedford County have filed felony retail theft charges against a Hopewell woman after she allegedly stole $11 worth of bacon from a local Dollar General. Police say on Sunday, troopers were dispatched to the store, located along Raystown Road in Broad Top Township, for the reported theft. Troopers say the store manager reportedly witnessed 36-year-old Kelli Snyder enter the store and then leave a short time later without purchasing anything.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Gov. Tom Wolf announced that North American Höganäs is expanding operations in Cambria County. Officials say the expansion will bring 25 jobs to the Johnstown area. “Pennsylvania’s powdered metals industry is a major contributor to our manufacturing sector,” Wolf said. “Höganäs’ decision to expand here is great news for Pennsylvania manufacturing, and will provide at least 25 reliable, family-sustaining jobs for Cambria County workers.” The powdered metal products manufacturer is investing in new machinery, a new 24,000-square-foot building and additional employees.
