LANTANA, Fla. (WPEC) — A school in Florida has found an interesting way of keeping students from using their cell phones during the day. Palm Beach Maritime Academy Secondary Campus believes they are the first school in the county to do something like this. The school year is almost over, and students will soon start their summer break. But a few weeks ago, the school launched a big change involving students in grades 6 through 12 and their cell phones.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — A local pest control worker has been charged after police say he was caught on camera urinating inside a Cambria County family's living room. Authorities with the Hastings Borough Police Department have filed charges against the owner of Young's Pest Control, 67-year-old Roger Young, after he allegedly admitted to the incident, which police say was caught on the family's home surveillance camera. Police say on April 24th, Young was reportedly contacted to spray pesticides inside the residence, located at the Haida Village Apartments.

MEYERSDALE, Pa. (WJAC) — It’s been a decades-long road for Somerset County leaders to get Route 219 as a four-lane highway completely through the county. Right now, that four-lane highway ends in Meyersdale where the road continues on a six-mile windy stretch to the Maryland border as a two-lane road. Now they’re hoping to complete that. Federal and county leaders celebrated Tuesday the $53 million of federal money that has been set aside to be used for planning, environmental regulation costs, and other pre-construction work like buying land rights, to connect the end of the four-lane expressway in Meyersdale, connect with Maryland’s four-lane Route 219 to Interstate 68.
