CANTON, Ohio — Former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher will be immortalized forever in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Super Bowl-winning coach was told by the Hall’s President & CEO David Baker during Saturday's broadcast of The NFL Today, where Cowher has worked since retiring from coaching, that he was selected as a member of the Centennial Slate for the Class of 2020. The special expanded class is being selected as part of the National Football League's 100th season.

University Park, PA (WJAC) — The Penn State University Athletics Department announced Wednesday that the Nittany Lions game against Michigan State this upcoming season will be played at Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 24th, which is Black Friday.
The game will be televised on NBC.
This is the third primetime game that has been announced on Penn State's 2023 football schedule.

In an effort to help, the Somerset County Commissioners just allocated $1.2 million worth of CARES Act Funding to over 100 different businesses throughout the county. GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP – A Hollidaysburg Area High School senior and standout softball player died in an ATV accident Friday morning.
Police said Mikayla Focht, of Duncansville, was a passenger on a 2015 Yamaha Raptor ATV being driven by Trenton Bilak, 23, of Everett, when the ATV struck a deer on the road around 4:15 a.m. along Knob Run Road, near Blue Knob.
The impact caused the ATV to overturn, which threw both Bilak and Focht from the ATV.

CARROLLTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — The Sheetz in Carrolltown has been professionally deep cleaned and reopened after an employee there tested positive for COVID-19, officials said Monday.
Officials said the store along Main Street was closed Sunday due to the coronavirus concerns.
They said both the inside of the store and the gas pumps are now open.

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say a local man is behind bars after he allegedly admitted to raping two young girls.
Troopers say they began investigating the sexual assault claims in December after receiving a Child Line report.
According to the affidavit, investigators say the two victims reportedly described multiple accounts of being raped by their neighbor, 28-year-old Justin Fillebrown.
Police say during the course of the investigation, they also learned that a relative of the victims had reportedly witnessed one of the assaults.

Teen actor and Hallmark star Mamie Laverock, known for her role as Rosaleen Sullivan in the series “When Calls the Heart,” is on life support after falling five stories from a balcony, according to aGoFundMe page organized by her family.
According to the GoFundMe campaign, after spending two weeks in “intensive treatment” in the hospital due to a “medical emergency” that had happened earlier in May, Laverock “was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories,” per the fundraiser page, which was set up by her parents, Rob and Nicole Compton.
