2nd UPDATE |INDIANA COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Indiana County coroner Jerry Overman has identified the deceased victim of Sunday's early morning mass shooting at the Chevy Chase Community Center in White Township. Officials say 22-year-old Jamar Montae Porterfield Herriot Jr., of Homestead, Pa, was reportedly attending a party at the community center when he and eight others were shot. Overman has ruled Herriot's death as a homicide and noted that he was pronounced dead at the scene.

UNIVERSITY PARK — The Penn State men's and women's lacrosse teams have a new place to call home--Panzer Stadium. It's a multi million dollar facility, which is built specifically for lacrosse. The stadium seats 1,300 people. JOHNSTOWN -- The Pitt-Johnstown women’s basketball team closed out the 2019-20 home schedule on a high note. After honoring this year’s seniors, the Mountain Cats completed the season sweep over Seton Hill with a 74-67 victory, Wednesday night in the Sports Center. Gabrielle Smith scored 22 points in her final game in the Sports Center to help the Mountain Cats improve to 16-11 overall and 11-10 in the PSAC West.

EBENSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — The Ebensburg Borough Council announced Tuesday that it approved the reopening of the Ebensburg swimming pool, effective June 13. “We know that our residents are anxious to see things return to normal, and we want to have the pool open this summer,” said Recreation Director Dirk Johnson. “But we also recognize that we have to do so while keeping the safety of the community in mind.”

Philadelphia, PA (CNN) — Police in Pennsylvania say they arrested a man while he was dismembering his girlfriend. Police responded to a domestic call at an apartment complex in Clifton Heights on Friday. When they went to the back of the home and looked inside, authorities say they found Nicholas Scurria dismembering a woman's head. They took the 32-year-old into custody and reported finding several weapons inside of the home, including a machete.
